Joseph Volokolamsk Monastery, founded in 1479, is an Orthodox monastery located in the village of Teryayevo in the north of the Moscow region, about 25 km north-east of the town of Volokolamsk.
In the 15th century, the first stone cathedral was built. In 1688-1696, a new church was built in its place in the style of Moscow Baroque – the cathedral church of the Assumption of the Mother of God. Kiev Railway Station in Moscow

Kiev (Kiyevsky) Railway Station is one of the nine railway stations of Moscow. Built in 1914-1918, it is a monument of architecture and engineering art, an object of cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia of federal importance.
The motifs of the Patriotic War of 1812 (the French invasion of Russia) were used in the architectural concept of the station, in the paintings of the halls, sculptures. Church of the Life-Giving Trinity is a picturesque Orthodox church located in the west of Moscow on the territory of the former estate of Troitse-Lykovo on the right high bank of the Moscow River.
The church was built in 1694-1697 (according to other sources – 1698-1703) and became one of the first church buildings constructed in the style of the so-called Moscow Baroque, a synthesis of western Baroque and old Russian national style. The Moscow Transport Museum has a unique collection of retro models of all types of Soviet urban transport. Here you can see a lot of different cars and trucks, taxis, trams, buses, trolleybuses that carried passengers along the streets of Moscow, as well as cars of various city services: police, firefighters, ambulance.

Church of St. John the Apostle in Kolomna

Kolomna, founded in 1177, is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the Moscow region located about 100 km south-east of Moscow.
One of the architectural landmarks of Kolomna is the Church of St. John the Apostle built in 1733-1756. In 1826-1846, a new five-tiered bell tower in the Empire style was built. Kolomna is a city with a population of about 140 thousand people located in the south of the Moscow region, about 113 km southeast of the center of Moscow. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the region.

Amazing Interiors of Kazansky Railway Station

Kazansky Railway Station (until 1894 – Ryazansky Railway Station) is one of the nine railway stations of Moscow. The construction of the present building of the station, designed in the pseudo-Russian style, began in 1913 and ended only in 1940.

Unfinished and Abandoned Khovrino Hospital in Moscow

Khovrino Abandoned Hospital (also known as Umbrella) is a huge building located in the north of Moscow in the Khovrino District. The building area is 100 thousand square meters, the total land area – 2.4 hectares.
Construction of the hospital began in 1980. However, after five years of construction, it was suspended in 1985. From that moment on, the hospital remained unfinished and abandoned. Moscow from the Roof of the Central Children’s Store

The Central Children’s Store on Lubyanka or Tsentral’nyy Detskiy Magazin (in Russian) is a department store with goods for children and youth built in the center of Moscow in 1953-1957. Opened in 1957, it became the biggest children’s store in the USSR.
