Nizhny Tagil – the city with tanks on the streets

Nizhny Tagil is a very tough city. On the roads along with the usual transport you can find battle tanks. And here are several examples.
Last weekend one driver was nearly run over by the tank that was rushing at high speed across the highway.
Another example. Special snow removal equipment could not cope with the amount of snow, so the tanks were used for cleaning the city.
According to official sources they used engineering machines made for laying passes in the areas of continuous forest or urban rubble, formed after the use of nuclear weapons or mass bombing.
In the spring the city administration will probably have to find new know-how to restore the roads damaged by military equipment.
