The mighty bears of Kamchatka region photos

Scrap iron pieces sculptures park of Moscow city

The park from the following photos is located in Moscow city and has the name “The Planet Shelezyaka” (meaning the planet of scrap pieces of iron). The park is known for a number of sculptures made of various used pieces of iron.

Russian Black Sea Navy base located in Sevastopol city of Ukraine was one of the main issues of Ukrainian-Russian relationship last years. Today there is an agreement that the base will stay in Sevastopol till at least the years of 2042—2047.

The unique machinery museum of main Russian auto factory

The following museum of machinery is the property of well known and largest in Russia and Eastern Europe auto factory “AvtoVAZ” (Tolyatti city, Samara oblast) and is located just near the plant.
There are more than 460 various machines on the territory of about 32 hectares. The photos were captured by Viktor Borisov (all the pictures are clickable).

Ancient monastery of Tver region land

The following monastery called Voznesensky-Orshin is located on the left bank of Volga river in the village of Orsha about 20 km from Tver city.
It is one of the most ancient monasteries of Tver oblast first time mentioned in 1567. The pictures of the monastery were captured by macwrangler (the photos are clickable).

The views of classical Russian village

The following village is looking like thousands of other similar villages located in almost all regions of Russia. Unfortunately as the process of urbanization continues numerous of such villages are becoming abandoned or will be abandoned next years.
This village called Shapsha is located in Khanty-Mansi autonomous okrug, near Khanty-Mansiysk city. As the village is located close to the large city it is still inhabited but the wooden buildings of the past are not in good shape and probably will be lost. The pictures were captured by Padunskiy (all the photos are clickable).
