There are not a lot of options available. You can either fly via Moscow (there are a lot of different flights available) or via Istanbul. Check the site of the airport of Rostov-on-Don to get the latest info about the flights.

I haven't found any info about additional flights during the World Cup, but, at the moment, there is already a number of daily flights from Moscow to Saransk available, from all three major Moscow airports (Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo). You can find the timetable of flights on the site of the airport of Saransk. You can use this service to translate sites.
