Tver city located about 170 km from Moscow is one of the ancient cities of Russian state known from the year of 1164. Here are several photos of present day Tver city streets architecture, places of interest captured by macwrangler.

Love the photographs, very professionally taken. You brought back lot of my memories back. Am an Indian residing in delhi. Tver gave and took away a lot from me, during the most unimaginable days in 1990. I lived there for 9 years and have a LOVE & HATE relationship with it. It will always remain just as true and genuine as my own motherland for me. It is more so important for me as my son – a tverichanin – was born there in 1995. Regards.

Wonderschone architectonische bouw werken. Menige zou een restauratie beurt moeten krijgen. Waardoor de vaklieden die dit allemaal nog handmatig kunnen restaureren met zoveel liefde en geduld. Maar het is in elk land het zelfde, zo ook in Nederland. Het kost handen vol geld, dat er niet is. Maar deze gebouwen zijn een onderdeel van uw geschiedenis door de eeuwen heen. Ook bij ons zet men er lelijke gebouwen tussen. Tussen al deze parels van de stad. Maar als Nederlander, voel ik me er wel thuis, wat de beelden me laten zien. Als of ik thuis ben.

Tver how I miss you. Thank you for giving me a loving wife and wonderful kids. We will be back soon I hope. What a wonderful place.
