Rybinsk – the city of Russia’s Golden Ring

Rybinsk city is located in Yaroslavl oblast of Russia and has the population of about 207,000. Rybinsk received its coat of arms, present name and status of the city in 1777. The name can be translated as “The fish city”. Rybinsk is known for the preserved architectural monuments of the late 18th – early 20th century. Khanty-Mansiysk – the capital of the world biathlon for two weeks

Biathlon stars gathered in these days in Russia’s Khanty-Mansiysk. The world championship will be held there in the capital of Yugra March 1-13. Favorites are known, but who will be the first and collect the greatest number of awards, it will become clear after two weeks.
In the meantime, fans are anticipating the exciting battles on the track and the small stadium in Khanty-Mansiysk. Here are some views of the stadium and the surroundings captured by Padunskiy.

The museum of railway equipment of Novosibirsk oblast

Novosibirsk museum of railway equipment named after N.A.Akulinin is located in Sovetsky district of Novosibirsk oblast, near railway station Seyatel, on the road from Novosibirsk city to Akademgorodok.
The museum has a large collection of steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, electric locomotives and wagons, mostly working on the railways in Western Siberia. The photos were captured by Victor Borisov.

Dubrovitsy is a small village located near Podolsk city of Moskovskaya oblast. The main attractions of the village are the mansion of Golytsins and the following remarkable Znamensky church constructed more than 300 year ago, in 1704.
