The ship-house in Kemerovo oblast

The following unusual house was constructed by Nikolay Orekhov living in Borovoy settlement of Kemerovo oblast, Russia. Among the neighbors of Nikolay the house is also known as Nikolay’s Ark. The photos were captured by Viktor Borisov (all pictures are clickable).

Nikitsky monastery is among the most ancient monasteries of Russia. The monastery is located near the town of Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl oblast. Smolensk fortified wall also known as Smolensk kremlin is the fortification constructed in 1595-1602. The fortress played extremely important role in the defense line of Russian state. Poshekhonye is a small town with the population of about 6,500 (2010) located in Yaroslavl oblast of Russia. The town is situated 151 km to the northwest of Yaroslavl city. The settlement was first time mentioned in 1680 and from 1777 has the status of the town. Here are the photos of Poshekhonye town captured by Maxim Yashin in April 2009.
