The sceneries like the following are common for numerous bays of Russian North. After the collapse of Soviet Union military based economy a lot of ships were just left in such places and abandoned.

you are absolutly correct, maby ther supply ships but i am not sure. in the sowiet union / russia every ship belongs more or less the navy der is no merchant navy like in the west. i was a 3. marinediesel engeneer. in the 70 thys and the sowite freigther hat doppel the crew onbord, then a ship from the west. at least 4-5 peopel wher politycal instructors or teachers. i meet them mostly an the westcoast of africa and we all ways changed home theater movis with them. i was in my jounys also in NURMANSK / SIBIRIA . that is a navel harbour of gigantic proportion Atlantic. also in WLADYWOSTOCK/ kamtschatka an oder gigantic navel harbour Pacific. but your are rigth warships look different. one brainwave maby it is propoganda from the west (USA) too let readers think russia has only rubbish on warships like so often. i can not stand the aroganz of the western world. i am not a komunist i am a swiss national wath lifes 47 years in africa. dimitry i would realy like do meet you sometime somewehr. let my\e now.
