Museum of the History of Cosmonautics in Kaluga

The State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named after K. E. Tsiolkovsky in Kaluga (Akademika Koroleva Street, 2) is the world’s first and largest space museum in Russia, created with the direct participation of S.P. Korolev and Yu. A. Gagarin.
The museum has an extensive exposition telling about the history of aeronautics, aviation, rocket and space technology. Photos by: Sergey Rubtsov.

The House of Masters of Kaluga city

The following wooden building constructed in the beginning of the 20th century hosts the municipal House of Masters and the Museum of local people handicrafts and art. There are nice exhibits of national costumes and fancywork.
Also there is a large collection of Khludnevskaya traditional clay toys. The address of the House of Masters is Kaluga city, Grigorovsky pereulok (side street), 9. The photos of the house were captured by ehidnazevaka (all the pictures are clickable).
