Dubrovitsy is a small village located near Podolsk city of Moskovskaya oblast. The main attractions of the village are the mansion of Golytsins and the following remarkable Znamensky church constructed more than 300 year ago, in 1704. Abandoned wooden church of Barabanovo village

The flooded church of Vologda oblast photos

The following church built in 1790 is located in the former village of Krokhino (Vologda oblast) flooded in the beginning of 1960th with the construction of Volga-Baltic Canal.
The church was standing on the upland and survived the flooding but was abandoned. And here are the views of the present state of the church by shtish. The last picture is the photo of the church captured in the year of 1910.
