The largest lake of Western Siberia views

Chany Lake is the largest lake in Western Siberia region and is among the largest in the world. The lake is located in Chanovsky district of Novosibirsk oblast of Russia.
Chany lake has the length of about 91 km and the width of 88 km. The following beautiful pictures of the lake were captured by Stepanov Slava (the photos are clickable).

Borodino battle reconstruction sceneries

Borodino battle or Moscow river battle was the largest battle of Patriotic war of 1812 between Russia and France. The battle took place September 7, 1812 near Borodino village about 125 km to the west of Moscow city. Borodino battle is supposed to be one of the bloodiest one-day battles in history with Russian casualties of about 45,000 and French – 30,000.
