Transpolar railway (Gulag construction sites #501 and #503) is a railroad running on the way Chum – Salekhard – Igarka. The construction of the railway began in 1947. Among the most likely reasons of the construction were the developing of infrastructure of Russian North, the simplification of supply of Norilsk, as well as improving the supply of the Northern Fleet.

Circum-Baikal Railway Sceneries

Circum-Baikal Railway is a historic railroad located in Irkutsk oblast of Russia. In the past the railroad was the part of famous Trans-Siberian Railway. The railway is a monument of engineering and is one of the attractions of the region. The photos were captured by Stepanov Slava.

There are some people in Russia that probably don’t care about the risk of doing things like on the following video but prefer just to save some money (the video is starting with a delay after pressing Play button so wait a little, it is worth seeing!)

Here is the record of hidden camera placed near two railway lines (the line of general use (free access) and local trains line (paid)) of Yaroslavsky railway station of Moscow city. Try to count how many people that prefer to take a free ride but not to pay for the ticket were captured by the camera for only 10 minutes!
