It is a very interesting picture. I am from Belarus (former USSR Republic), and I know what New Year is for all us, slavic people. If not for confetti, it is almost like a true representations of the table with dozens of dishes in many Russian, Belarusian or Ukrainian families. I remember that the most popular dishes were the salad “Olivye”, selyodka pod shuboi (herring), caviar, oranges and chocolate. Oh, I have forgotten – champagne!!!
