The Russian Railway Museum, located in St. Petersburg at Bibliotechny Lane, 4/2, near Baltiyskiy Railway Station, a 7-minute walk from Baltiyskaya metro station, is the main railway museum of Russia and one of the largest railroad museums in the world.

Shamordino Convent in the Kaluga region

Kazanskaya Amvrosiyevskaya Pustyn’ (unofficially the Shamordino Convent), founded in 1884, is a beautiful nunnery of the Russian Orthodox Church located in a picturesque place near the village of Shamordino in the Kaluga region, 65 km south-west of Kaluga.

Veliky Ustyug is a town with a population of about 30,000 people located in the northeast of the Vologda region, 446 km from Vologda. In 1999, it was declared the birthplace of the All-Russian Father Frost.

Parus (Sail) Rock is a natural monument located on the Black Sea coast, 17 km southeast of the resort town of Gelendzhik in the Krasnodar region.

Vasilevo open-air architectural and ethnographic museum is located in the village of Vasilevo in the Tver region, 76 km north-west of Tver.

Gorno-Altaysk – the view from above

Gorno-Altaysk is a city with a population of about 62,000 people located in the south of Western Siberia of Russia, the capital and the only city of the Altai Republic.
